What a rush. I left the office early in the morning doing some last minute shopping and Daniele was closing the house and doing the first round of provisions.
We were one week late in departure so that we do propeller inspection, recover from bad back pains and many other delays.
We gassed up and pumped out, we got off at 15h00, heading for our first destination --- Longueuil
The St-Catherine locks let us pass around 19:45 and we crossed St-Lambert at 21:00. Going down the St. Lawrence provided us a new view of our hometown Montreal with its majestic Mount Royal and the Olympic Stadium.
Following the buoys, we anchored in front of the marina in Longueuil. As it was 22:15, we have not wanted to cook and eat so late, so we nibbled crackers with ham and cheese.
