July 15, 2016 Quebec to Ile Orleans

Daniele tells me she does not want to go further.  I had given her that choice and she exercises it. I prepare to go back.  But fortunately, she changes her mind.

Skillful navigator
We filled the water tanks and diesel and leave the YCQ around 15:30. The wind is good and fills the Genoa in a light rain. A rainbow arched little sky stretches from the tip of the Ile d'Orleans to the lands of the north shore. What a wonderful gateway. A bright red cargo leaves a commercial wharf and beyond us without inconveniencing us.

We arrive at the Marina St-Laurent of Bacchus Island around 17:30.  A dock boy comes to help us to dock. We registered and took a short walk towards the village shop where we bought bread, tomatoes, milk, chocolate and real sweet fresh Orleans strawberries.

We had a quiet evening and good night sleep at Ile Orleans.
